Hi! Just wanted to share some thoughts and pictures of our trip to TDR in July 2025. Hope it can be useful!
We spent 4 entire days at the parks, two in Disneyland and two in Disneysea. We stayed at the Toystory hotel for two nights (the first room-only and the second one with a vacation package) and one night at the Ambassador hotel (to have happy entry to DisneySea). We managed to ride everything we wanted and we rode some of our favourite rides twice. Disneyland felt very manageable, while DisneySea was certainly more crowded. The vacation package helped a lot, especially in securing the attractions at Fantasy Springs. Mobile order was super convenient, they don’t use it a lot so we managed to always get out food with zero wait. The food was good but nothing to rave about. A favourite of mine were the caramel popcorn.
We found some roaming characters in the parks and the meet and greet were very quick but super cute (tip: we were just two, so we told them we wanted the photos together and we handed immediately the phone to a cast member.. they took a lot of photos also while we were interacting with the characters and a bunch of posed ones). The electrical parade in DL and the final show in DS were an absolute must for us. The happy entry (even though it’s just 15 minutes) was very useful, because you have a separate entry, in DL we use it on beauty and the beast that was a walk-on, the same in DS for the Tangled ride. It’s recommended to arrive at least 1 h earlier of Happy Entry time, though, so you are at the front of the queue. We had to buy several Premier passes to skip the queues, especially in DS (journey to the centre of the earth, frozen) but we were very lucky with the lottery system with the shows. We ended up seeing almost every show (we saw two shows twice) and we had to pay only for the new Dreams that take flight and mickey’s magical music world (the best one for us)
