Remy's Rope Drop from a Non-Skyliner Resort

Hello! We are wanting to Rope Drop Remy on our Epcot park day in June, but we aren’t staying at a Skyliner resort. Is it possible to take a Minnie Van to Beach Club and walk over even if we don’t have a dining reservation? Would we lose too much time if we use the Main Entrance instead of finding a way to the International Gateway?

I can’t speak to rope dropping Remy’s from the front, but I recently learned that you CAN take a Minnie Van to any resort even without a dining reservation.

Do you mean early entry or rope drop at regular opening hours?

I unintentionally did Remy’s during early entry from the main entrance last December. My son and I planned on doing Test Track but it had a delayed opening. My son insisted we do Remy’s instead. It was already 10 minutes into early entry and we were way over on the other side of the park but we did it anyway. There was a substantial line when we got there but probably half as long as it would have been after park opening, so it was still time well spent. We were done by 9:10.

So Remy for early entry from the main entrance is not the worst choice. Depending on what else you’re planning on doing.

I’m not sure about rope dropping though. Remy’s has a surge for the first hour of so of the park being open and it’s often better to wait for that surge to be over, say at 10:30. Watch the app for the standby times and catch it on the way down.

Yes, you can definitely get a Minnie Van to Beach Club (you could also get it to the Boardwalk) without a dining reservation. If you want to be near the front of early entry that would be the best option. Rob did an early entry video where he went from the back to the front for Guardians, so it would be a similar experience to that but in reverse I think.

It turns out I misremembered the timing on this. I was tracking my location during my trip, so I was able to look up the exact timing:
7:33am: arrived at main entrance
7:41: arrived at early entry queue
7:56: early entry guests are let in
8:01: arrived at Test Track, 10th in line
8:03: cast member at Test Track informed us that they were having a delayed opening
8:15: arrived at Remy (wow that was a brisk walk!)
8:26: Remy queue begins to move
8:30: posted 50-minute wait
8:48: on the ride (33 minutes total wait)
8:55: done Remy
