Should we stay at Riverside or save $200 with a preferred room at POP?

We stayed at POP last November and liked it — Skyliner was great, food court was fine, but the resort itself wasn’t particularly relaxing (though we were in the parks most days).

For our June trip we booked Riverside to “level up” a bit (FQ wasn’t available for our dates). We have 6-day tickets — two HS days, two EPCOT days, plus a resort rest day, which I figured would be more enjoyable at Riverside.

Now I’m second-guessing myself. My main concern is bus-only transport and how spread out Riverside is. I requested a central building but no guarantees.

Should I stick with Riverside for the upgrade in feel, or take the savings and go back to a Skyliner resort? Am I overthinking the bus situation?

Hi there and welcome! Personally, I’m not a big fan of the busses, but they do get you where you need to go! I’m also a big fan of a resort only day and Riverside has a lot of advantages. You can still walk to French Quarter and you have a lovely boat ride to Disney Springs. It is a tough choice but I would take Riverside personally. I’ll be staying at Pop in April and FQ in June and am looking forward to comparing the two! Hope yo have a great trip!
