I haven’t introduced myself properly, so thought I should: my name is Jackie R, and I live in Oklahoma City. I did get to ‘meet’ a few of you recently at the Mad Tea Party on Patreon. It was so lovely and fun and now I want to be more active in this amazing community.
I’ve been following the Ear Scouts YouTube for quite awhile—Rob and Erick’s videos have helped me plan two trips recently AND I’ve become a semi-pro at the slots. The channel is truly an amazing resource!
I’ve visited both Disneyland and Walt Disney World several times each, and my next goal park is Tokyo Disney. I’ve technically spent the most time in WDW because I did the College Program there a long, long time ago…(Fall 2002). I did my CP at Restaurantosaurus in Dinoland, U.S.A. (I’m sad to see it go soon), so I also have a soft spot for Animal Kingdom.
I’m very much a rides person at the parks–Tower of Terror is my favorite, mainly because I have some fun memories of test riding it repeatedly one morning as a cast member when they were getting ready to change to the randomized drop—I feel like I’m a little part of the ride history because of that
HI!! I am not super new- I found this last spring, but realized I never had an account till now! I love Rob and Eric’s videos!!! I ran into Rob in Epcot last summer and was star-struck! He was rushing to Guardians though LOL. Just love the podcast- such a great listen during my morning runs!
Heigh-Ho! I know it’s a bit late to introduce myself, but my name is Heather and this is my family! My husband Ryker, my daughter Henlee, and I love all things Disney! I grew up going to WDW as a kid but my husband got to experience for the first time when we took our daughter for her 4th birthday in 2019 and he was hooked! We started visiting once a year and decided to make it our family tradition. We became Disney Vacation Club Members in 2024. We’ve had the opportunity to travel to Disneyland and experience the 70th Anniversary celebrations. Our daughter is an avid ear collector and says one day she’ll put them in her office as a Disney Imagineer
We found Ear Scouts when we were planning for our trip in 2022 and now Rob and Erick are essential to our Disney experience! We are so appreciative of all they do and the community they created!
I loved the Ear Scouts videos as prep for my 2022 trip and recommend them to my friends when they start planning their own trips. And now I love listening to the podcast too.
I’m coming into the forums now because I’m planning my next trip for this August! This will be somewhere around my 25th trip (I’ve lost track) and the second trip for my kids. They will be 4 and 6 and I cannot wait.
